Make a Listing Active or Inactive

Managing your listing visibility is essential for controlling what customers can see and book on your calendar. With Occasion's active/inactive feature, you can easily control which experiences are available for booking without permanently deleting them.

Active listings are listings that can be booked and ones that would appear on your calendar if you have added time slots to them. Inactive listings are not visible on your backend or your public calendar. You can easily make a Listing Inactive (essentially archiving it), or switch it back to being Active.

In this article, we will show you how to:

Make a listing Inactive (Archive a listing)

Quick Toggle

  1. Navigate to "Listings" from your sidebar menu
  2. Find the Listing(s) you wish to make inactive
  3. Click on the green checkmark in the bottom right corner of the Listing
  4. The listing will disappear from your view (it's not deleted, just archived)

From Inside the Listing Editor

  1. Click "Edit Listing" on the listing you want to deactivate
  2. On the top-right corner of the listing editor, you will see a toggle switch
  3. Click on the switch to change it to "Inactive"
  4. The setting is auto-saved

Find Archived Listings

To locate and view your inactive (archived) listings:

  1. Go to "Listings" from your sidebar menu
  2. Look for the Filter section on the listings page
  3. Under the filter options, select "Inactive" status
  4. Click "Apply" to filter your view
  5. All your archived listings will now be displayed

Tips for Finding Specific Archived Listings

  • Use the search bar to find listings by title even when viewing inactive listings
  • Browse through the filtered list to review all your archived experiences
  • Note that archived listings maintain all their original settings and configurations
