Automatically send follow-up emails with a discount to past customers to encourage repeat bookings.
Once the campaign is live, Occasion automatically sends a follow-up email with a coupon to customers after their visit.

Setting Up the Campaign
Go to Campaigns → Encore Campaign from the left sidebar in your Occasion workspace, then click "Learn More and Set Up Campaign."
Step 1 — Coupon Settings
- Discount Amount — enter the fixed dollar amount customers will receive off their next booking
- Coupon Valid For — choose how long the coupon stays active (default: 7 days). This creates urgency and encourages customers to act quickly.
Step 2 — Send Timing
Choose how many days after a customer's visit the email goes out:

Occasion will show you a preview of how many customers will receive the first send based on your timing selection.
Step 3 — Link in Email
Enter the URL where customers will land when they click the button in the email. We recommend linking directly to your booking page so customers can rebook in one click.
Step 4 — Preview & Launch
Click Preview Email to see exactly what your customers will receive before going live. When you're ready, click Save Settings and Launch Campaign.
Preventing fatigue
Two smart rules keep it from over-sending:
- Customers with an upcoming booking are skipped — no need to discount someone who's already coming back
- Each customer receives the email a maximum of once every 90 days
Managing an Active Campaign
Once your campaign is live you can:
- View Report — see how many emails were sent, opened, clicked, and how many coupons were redeemed
- Settings — update your discount amount, timing, coupon validity, or redirect link at any time
- Pause — temporarily stop the campaign without deleting your settings
Frequently Asked Questions
- Will a customer get this email if they already have an upcoming booking? No. Occasion automatically skips any customer who has a future booking with you.
- How often can the same customer receive this email? A maximum of once every 90 days per customer.
- Can I change the discount amount after the campaign is live? Yes. Go to Campaigns → Encore Campaign → Settings to update your coupon settings at any time. Changes apply to future sends only.
- What does the email look like? Click Preview Email on the setup page to see the exact email your customers will receive, including your branding and discount.
- Can I use a percentage discount instead of a fixed amount? Currently, the campaign supports fixed dollar discounts only.
