CRM 101

In this article, we answer some basic questions about Customers and Attendees.

Who is a Customer?

A Customer is the person booking the service/event.

Who is an Attendee?

An Attendee is the person who is actually attending the event.

Why should you track Attendees?

Tracking Attendees can be important for the following reasons:

  1. Pulling an accurate roster.
  2. Making sure everyone attending has completed a waiver.
  3. Collecting specific information on each attendee.

What's the difference between a Customer and an Attendee?

A Customer is the person booking the service, while the Attendee is the person who is attending. The Customer can also be an Attendee, or they may be booking the service on behalf of other people (like their child).
