Track Page Views and Conversions with Facebook Pixel Tracking

Occasion allows you to track conversions and page views with the Facebook Pixel so that you can accurately measure the effectiveness of your ads in getting customers to purchase your events. Please note that you must have working knowledge of Facebook Pixel and Facebook Advertising to successfully track conversions using the Facebook Pixel.

  • Pixel Identifier

What does integrating Facebook Pixel with Occasion allow you to track?

  • Page views
  • Purchase events (with the value of the purchase as well as currency)

How to add your Facebook Pixel to your Occasion workspace

  1. Login to your Occasion workspace, click on Settings from the side bar menu and then click on "Account settings".
  2. In the left panel, click Integrations and choose the Ad Tracking and Analytics section.

  1. Scroll down and look for "Facebook Ads" section.
  2. Turn the switch "On"
  3. Paste your Facebook Pixel Identifier here, and press “Save”


How to obtain your Facebook Pixel Identifier

  1. Log into Facebook and visit the Facebook Events Manager: https://www.facebook.com/events_manager2
  2. Select your business and click the "Data Sources"

  1. This will take you to the events manager page where you'll find the Facebook Pixel section if you've already created a Pixel. (If you haven't created a pixel already, please follow this manual).

  1. Copy the pixel ID you want to use
