Track Conversions With Google-Ads

Occasion allows you to track conversions with G-Ads so that you can accurately measure all your marketing efforts with G-Ads in driving customers to book your events.

What Does Integrating G-Ads With Occasion Allow You To Track?

  • Purchase events (including the value of the purchase and the currency)

Adding Google Ads To Your Occasion workspace

  1. Log in to your Occasion workspace, click on Settings in the side bar menu, and select “Account Settings”.
  2. In the left panel, select Integrations and click on "customize" in the Ad Tracking and Analytics section.
  3. Navigate to the "Google Adwords" section
  4. Turn the switch "On" and press “Edit”. Paste your G-Ads Identifier and Campaign ID here, and press “Save”


Obtaining Your Google Adwords Identifier and Campaign ID

The steps below will show you how to obtain the information needed from your Google Ads account and copy it over to your Occasion workspace:  

1. Click on the “Create conversion action” button and select "Conversions on a website".  



2. Enter your domain and press “Scan”



3. Choose “Add a conversion action manually”

4. Give it a name and select "Purchase/Sale" under Category.

  • Under "Value", select "Use different values for each conversion" and keep the default value.
  • Make sure to choose "Every" under Count.  

5. Click 'Save and Continue'. If you wish to alter any other values to better fit your campaign strategy, feel free.  

6. Copy the values highlighted below:  

- Your "Google Ads Identifier" is the first text highlighted below. Copy this from your own Google Ads account into your Occasion pop-up window.  

- Your "Campaign ID" is the second text highlighted below. Copy this from your own Google Ads account into your Occasion pop-up window.
