Have a class or event that’s fully booked? With Occasion's waitlist feature, customers can sign up to join the list for a chance at an available spot.

The Waitlist and How it Works for You

The waitlist in Occasion is an exciting feature that allows customers to join a waiting list when a class or event is fully booked. Instead of missing out entirely, they can add their contact details to the waitlist form for a sold-out time slot and will be notified by you, the partner, when a spot becomes available.

Here's how it works for single events:

• When an event is sold out, the "join waitlist" button appears immediately.

Here's how it works for events sold as a course (session):

• If a course is scheduled to start in the future and is sold out, customers can add themselves to the waitlist.
• If a course is sold out but has already started and allows mid-session sign-ups, the waitlist will still appear.
• If a course is sold out, has already started, and does NOT allow mid-session sign-ups, or if the course has fully ended, the waitlist option will NOT appear

Opting In

Great news! All accounts will automatically include a Waitlist for specific time slots of an event that is sold out.

Disabling Waitlist on Events

You can easily switch your listings to private to hide the waitlist.
