What's an Announcement?

An announcement is like a fun sign on the entrance to your play space. It’s a simple way to let visitors know what's happening, even when they aren’t booking a play session. Check out some examples:

Create Your Announcement

Setting up an announcement for your play space is quick and simple. Here’s how:

1. Log into your Occasion workspace and navigate to "Listings" in the sidebar menu.
2. Click on the "Templates" tab.
3. Search for "Announcement" and select "Create Listing."
4. In the "Basic" tab, create a fun, attention-grabbing title (e.g., "Closed for the Holidays – See You Soon!" or "Open Play Extended Hours This Weekend!").
5. Add a description to explain your announcement (e.g., "Our play space will be closed for Christmas, but we’re back with more fun next week!").
6. Head to the "Images" tab and upload a fun, playful image—something that reflects the joy and excitement of your space.
7. In the "Timeslot" tab, choose the date and time when your announcement should appear.
8. Click "Preview" to see how your announcement will look on your booking page.

That’s it! Your announcement is live for everyone to see.

Editing Your Announcement

If you need to make changes, it’s no problem! Here’s how you can edit your announcement:

1. Go to your Calendar Workspace.
2. Find and click on your announcement by selecting the date.
3. To change the title or description, click "Edit Listing."
4. To adjust the timing, click "Edit Time Slot."
5. Want to delete the announcement? Just click "Delete Time Slot."

Your updated announcement will be visible to your customers immediately.
