An announcement is like a notice on your virtual kitchen door, a way to keep your attendees updated even if they’re not booking a class. Use announcements to highlight important dates, special events, or closures. Here are a few examples:

Create Your Announcement

  1. Log into your Occasion workspace and navigate to "Listings" in the sidebar menu.
  2. Click on the "Templates" tab.
  3. Search for "Announcement" and select "Create Listing."
  4. Under the "Basic" tab, give your announcement a fun and engaging title (e.g., "Closed for New Year's – See You in 2024!").
  5. Add a description explaining the details (e.g., "Our cooking school is closed for New Year's Eve, but we’ll be back with fresh classes in January!").
  6. Go to the "Images" tab and upload a picture—consider a festive or culinary-themed image to catch attention.
  7. Under the "Timeslot" tab, set the date and time when your announcement will be visible to your students.
  8. Click "Preview" to see how it will appear on your booking page.

Edit Your Announcement

Need to make adjustments to your announcement? No problem!

  1. Navigate to your Calendar Workspace.
  2. Click on the date to find your announcement.
  3. To change the title or description, click "Edit Listing."
  4. To adjust the timing, click "Edit Time Slot."
  5. If you need to remove the announcement, click "Delete Time Slot."

Your updates will go live instantly, ensuring your customers are always in the know.
